Teacher's Interactive Educational Resource (TIER) Training
Teachers are the content expert of the school. Given the proper training , they can create multimedia materials that are appropriate for the Filipino student.
The Teacher's Interactive Educational Resource (TIER) Training is a team-based, mentoring style program designed to help teachers develop multimedia projects using localized content. This training allows the teachers to go through the whole process of developing a multimedia project, from concept mapping and creating multimedia scripts to the actual translation of thier content into multimedia format.
Focus is given on three aspects of multimedia development, namely: Content, Research and Technology.
Key Benefits
With the Teacher's Interactive Educational Resource (TIER) Methodology, teachers will be able to learn how to work as a team in creating their multimedia projects.
At the end of the training, each group will have their own multimedia teaching material, which includes the following:
- TIER Module for each selected subject area or topic
- Corresponding Teacher's Guide and User's Guide for the TIER Module
- Teacher's ToolKit (related resources and references for the TIER Module)
These materials can be shared by the entire school community.
Since this is a trainors training program, participants will have the capability to train other faculty members.
