The year’s Academic Bash is now in preparation, with its theme: “Leading to commercialization opportunities for students through innovations and inventions”. The main highlights of the program are the investigatory and recycling projects.
“There is no difference regarding the activities in this year’s Academic Bash and last year’s, except for an additional activity: the Amazing Science Tricks”, Mrs. Jevina Sorongon, adviser of the Bureau of Science and Technology stated.
The Amazing Science Tricks are demonstrations of the principles or laws of science which may seem as magic in a layman’s eye. All the students will have a chance to experience this activity.
The Academic Bash will be held for four days starting from January 23. The Amazing Science Tricks and the viewing of Investigatory Projects and Recycling Projects for the 1st and 3rd year students will commence the bash.
On January 24 the Math-Sci Bee for the elementary students, the Educational Forum and the viewing of Investigatory Projects and Recycling Projects for the 2nd and 4th year students will be held.
Meanwhile the Science Project Defense and ICT Poster Tilt Judging will be conducted on January 25. And on the last day, January 26, the most-awaited Academic Challenge for all the year-levels will start together with the awarding of the winners for the bash Challenge and ICT poster making.
Because no school curriculum is complete without a science and technology fair, as for QCA, the Academic Bash is the most-awaited program of the school year.
