Quezon City Academy, through its Bureau of TLE studies with director, Khamil Magsalin and adviser, Mrs. Carmelita Ongoco will celebrate the Pista ng Kalinangan on September 21, 22, and 23 at the school’s roof deck.
As in any celebration, the atmosphere is festive. Food fair, palarong Pilipino and the like are in the program. The aims of the said event are to develop camaraderie, ingenuity, sportsmanship and artistic skills among students, which needs their participation to make this possible.
The revival and improvement of Filipino culture is the main goal of the said program. The commemoration of these event truly embodies the importance it has for the youth to truly savor our rich culture.
According to Mrs. Carmelita Ongoco, adviser of the bureau of TLE studies, “The celebration of Pista ng Kalinangan is shortened to three days as compared to four days last year due to tight schedules like the proximity of the mid-term exam. The theme and activities of this year’s Pista ng Kalinangan will be related to last year.”
